Captured Again?! –Blight Campaign

The group traveled for a few days and came across a shambled village with a few people in it. They could offer little in the way of equipment or even food, but anything was better than what the group had been surviving on. The hunters showed the Drecks and Griffith how to detect animals that had been tainted by the Blight and to avoid eating the meat of such creatures, instead burning them. The group stayed there for a few days, and eventually a deal was made that the group would help escort these villagers up north in hopes of finding a stronger, more fortified location.
The group traveled for a few more days when they were met by a small band of warriors and a man clad in black menacing armor. The group valiantly fought off the warriors, but they were no match for the armored man, and soon all were unconscious.
The group awoke to find themselves sitting at a long table with extravagant foods in front of them with the Dark Lady at the head of the table, smiling, sipping on a glass of what looked to be red wine. “I’m impressed, no one has escaped from here before.” She purred. “It makes me feel as though I have made the right choice when I chose you…”
“Chose us for what?” demanded the group, apprehension in their voices.
The Dark Lady confesses that she likes to toy with creatures, creating ones that are better, stronger. She whistles and shambling through the door is a large humanoid abomination. She smiled and said this creature has all their strengths, but none of their weaknesses.
Eventually the banter ends and the group find themselves facing off against an immensely powerful foe and they find that they are no match. The Dark Lady admits disappointment at their lack of effort and commands her men to dump them in the pit. She says that if they make it out, maybe then they will be a challenge.
And so they were tossed in to a pit, a dungeon dive that, even I had to admit, was mean, dirty, and quite a bit o’ fun to put the players through. Eventually the characters fought and found their way out and were teleported back to the surface, seeing in the distance a village with a plume of smoke rising from it. As they got to their feet, they hear faintly on the wind, the voice of the Dark Lady, “Till we play again…”
The group rested a minute to heal their wounds, and then made towards the village that looked like it could use some help…..
