Buffy and the Scooby Gang Using Freaks and Geeks Hack!

The other day I posted my hack of Barbarians of Lemuria to use for things like Hellboy and Buffy and the like.  Well I had a little free time this AM- so here is the Scooby Squad for you.

Buffy– Slayer

I Stake Them in the Heart– When Buffy is fighting demons she gains an extra die for damage.

I Can do Cartwheels, Flips, and Other Awesome Shit– As a Slayer Buffy is extremely agile.  She gains an extra die for Agility based rolls.

Flaws

I’m Not Selfish– Buffy is a teenage girl and she gets distracted over what she wants and her duty.  She gains an extra die for mind based skills.

A Moment of Pure Brilliance– Xander thinks outside of the box and tends to have weird moments of clarity that impresses everyone, even himself.  When rolling a Mind Rolls Xander gets an extra die.

I’ve got Friends– You’ve got people who will come to your aid when called.  They may want something in return, but hey what are friends for?

I Haven’t Died Yet, Oh Thank God– Xander has been in the thick of it and kept walking- He starts each session with an extra luck point.

Flaws

Babbler– Zander is awkward and tends to babble and make an ass of himself in front of people.  When making an appeal roll, roll an extra die and take lower of the two.

Book Smarts– Willow is smart and observant.  When using her Mind in occult research she gains an extra die.

Umm Look Over There– Somehow Willow is able to dupe other, maybe it’s because she looks so innocent.  When rolling opposed tests against Willow the opponent rolls 3d6 and takes the lower of the two.

Computers Just Speak to Me– When Willow hacks a computer she gains an extra die.

Flaws

I’m Never Gonna be a Powerful Witch– Willow lacks confidence when casting spells.  She gains an extra die when she uses her Freaky Power.

Wicca stuff

Spells– Willow Can cast spells that go off her Witch and Freaky Powers roll.  Use the Spell format from Barbarians of Lemuria.  All spells are reduced by 1 Target Number, or more, because they all have requirements (ie- read from a book, components, take a long time to cast, cast at certain time of day, etc).

Damn Your English Charm– Stuttering and mumbling worked for Hugh Grant and made him millions, so why shouldn’t it work for Giles as well?  He gains an extra die when making Appeals rolls.

I Have Some Training- Watchers are expected to have some knowledge of combat so as to train their young Slayers.  Giles gains 1 to Defense.

Stubborn Mule– Giles has a good knowledge of self and thus is able to shrug off mind affecting spells and enchantments slightly better than others.  He gains an extra die.

My Life is in Books– Giles’s knowledge is quite extensive.  Increase his Mind by 1.

Flaws

Fuck I have an Enemy– Someone hates your guts and goes out of their way to make your life a misery.  They always seem to show up at the most inopportune time!  This is a fully stated Villain and wants to make you suffer as long as possible before plunging the knife into your heart.

    Spiffy. Using BoL for Buffy and Hellboy is a great idea.

    It won’t get much play with my group as I am a BtVS RPG playtester and Unisystem buff but its a nice addition to the tool box.

    Well done.
